Welcome to Woodley Vehicle Hire Services. These Terms of Service (Terms) govern your use of our website carhirewoodley.co.uk and our vehicle rental services. By using our services

1. Woodley Rental Agreement

All vehicle rentals through Woodley are governed by a detailed Rental Agreement provided at booking confirmation or at vehicle collection. The Rental Agreement sets out the applicable terms and conditions, insurance information, charges, and your responsibilities for that particular hire. If any conflict arises between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement will prevail.

2. Woodley Eligibility

To rent a vehicle from Woodley, you must:

  • Be at least 21 years old (age restrictions may vary by vehicle type; additional charges may apply for drivers under 25). Hold a valid, full driving licence appropriate to the vehicle category, held for the minimum period stated in your Woodley Rental Agreement. Provide valid government-issued identification and proof of address, plus any other documents Woodley requires at booking or vehicle collection.

3. Booking and Billing

  • Bookings may be made via our website, by phone, or in person at our Woodley office. A booking deposit might be required to confirm your reservation. Full payment and a security deposit are usually payable when the vehicle is collected. All prices are shown in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable. ...

4. Vehicle Pickup and Return

  • You must inspect the Woodley vehicle thoroughly at collection and report any existing damage immediately. A vehicle condition report will be completed and signed by you and a Woodley representative. Return the vehicle in the same condition as collected, allowing for normal wear and tear. Any new damage will be assessed and charged in accordance with the applicable fees.

5. Woodley Insurance and Liability

  • Basic third-party insurance is included with all Woodley rentals. Full coverage details and excess amounts are provided in the Rental Agreement. Additional insurance options may be available to reduce your financial liability. We recommend reviewing these carefully. You are responsible for damage or loss up to the excess amount specified in the Rental Agreement.

6. Cancellation and Amendments

Woodley’s cancellation and amendment policies differ by booking type and notice period. Refer to your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement for specific details. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur additional charges.

7. Woodley Restrictions

You must not use a Woodley rented vehicle for:

  • Any unlawful purpose or activity involving a Woodley vehicle. Racing, rallying, off-roading, or other hazardous activities. Transporting hazardous or dangerous materials. Sub-letting a Woodley vehicle to third parties or allowing unauthorized drivers. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Uses for which the vehicle is not designed...

Breaching these restrictions may result in immediate termination of your Woodley rental and additional charges.

8. Limitation of Liability — Woodley

To the maximum extent permitted by English and Welsh law, Woodley will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including loss of profits, loss of data or loss of business, arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim will be limited to the total fees paid by you to Woodley for the relevant service in the 12 months preceding the event that gave rise to the claim.

9. Woodley Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes with Woodley will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes to Woodley Terms

Woodley may modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon being posted on the Woodley website. Continued use of Woodley services after posting constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
